Genome

by Matt Ridley

Written with the non-specialist in mind this book describes dozens of interesting aspects of DNA and genetics  and relates the scientific ideas to mattes of everyday importance – like stress, intelligence and sex. Each chapter focusses on one of the 23 chromosomes and brings out issues of genetic and everyday interest related to that particular chromosome. A good read, highly recommended.  AM London 05.09.14
